Indoor Plant Swap is a concept for an event in Portland where indoor plant enthusiasts can discover new plants, learn about care, meet like minded people, and maybe take home a couple of their plants. A central part of this project is the app design which allows users to create accounts, display their plants, and trade them at the events.
Attendees of the event are given a QR code upon entering the plant tent. This QR code is then scanned and the plant is registered with the plant on that person’s profile. Now they can walk around and enjoy the event. When someone scans their plant to make a trade, the owner will receive a notification and the trade can commence all through the app.
